Fun Squirrel Facts

There are three types of squirrels: ground squirrels, tree squirrels, and even flying squirrels! Flying squirrels have flaps of skin attached to their arms and legs, which create a square shape when they stretch out and help them glide through the air. Squirrels have a long bushy tail and fur in either grey or reddish-brown.

Squirrels use their tails like a parachute to balance in the air and can also jump as high at 5 feet.
