At Scout Store, we are delighted to launch the official personalised uniform service creating official personalised sweatshirts and polo shirts for our Squirrels, Beavers and Cub Scouts. 

This Squirrel Scouts premium kids polo shirt is an optional element of uniform and you can now choose to have this personalised with your childs name or initials.

The polo shirt is made from soft poly/cotton and features an embroidered Squirrels logo on the chest.

IMPORTANT: Safeguarding Message

When adding names to personalised products, you must never include information that could make a child or young person identifiable by using their full name.

Parents and carers must also give consent for their child's name to be added to a product before an order is placed.

Order requests containing full names will not be fulfilled.

• You could use just the first name of the young person - e.g. Isobel
• You can use the first initial of the surname if necessary- e.g. Isobel R
• You can opt just to have the young person's initials alone – e.g. IR
• You can use middle initials - e.g. IPR

At what age can you start Squirrels?

You can start Squirrels from the age of 4. Squirrel Scouts are for children aged 4 to 6 years.

Being a Squirrel Scout, what do they do?

When you join Squirrels, you’ll be introduced to loads of new activities, people and things. Here's everything you need to know.

Every week, Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities. Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.

The one-hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.

Sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life. Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring programme. 

The Origins of Squirrel Scouts

Squirrel Scouts, or simply Squirrels is the newest section of Scouting in the UK, having been officially launched in 2021. Squirrel groups, known as dreys, welcome children aged between 4 and 6 in the UK. The programme focuses on helping young children to try new things, make new friends, and build early skills through fun and play-based learning.
