Why a 'Thank You Day' badge?

To show you’ve taken part to the Thank You Day on Sunday 4th July to acknowledge those in our communities who’ve helped us through this difficult period.

What is the 'Thank You Day'?

Proposed by one of our Explorer Scouts, Emma, and supported by the Together coalition - made up of hundreds of organisations including Scouts, the Royal Voluntary Service, the FA and the NHS - Thank You Day is about bringing communities together.

Scouts as an association took part in the first ever national Thank You Day on Sunday 4th July 2021 to say thank you to all those in our neighbourhood who’ve made the difference and supported their communities so far.
